Description

This is a striking and relevant vintage advertising poster for Barton's Canadian Mist. It depicts a black man in a pencil sketch illustrative style with no shirt with the words "Be Proud" applied to the bottom of the mat. The poster is in decent condition, but does have some discoloration from age, a small tear on the left side of the print, and some damage to the mat. I don't know its history or provenance, and have not been able to find another like it in my research. I have had it for some time, as I collect art.
Size of the poster is about 17" x 14.25". With the mat, it is 20" x 16". There is no frame.
Please see all photos for condition. The signature at the bottom right appears to be "Lenny Wooden," but I am not certain.
