Beautiful Green Mark Nippon Hand Painted Geese in Flight Hatpin Holder "Jeweled"

Description

This auction is for a beautiful antique Nippon green mark hand painted hatpin holder with flying geese, raised gilt enamel foliate and flowers, and a "jeweled" and gilt decorated top.  The top edge and bottom have a band of gilt with raised enameled dots.  There are no chips, cracks or repairs.  The spot on the top inside lip is an "outie" (as opposed to an "innie") and is factory.  Not damage of any kind. Arpund the top are gilt curled leaves with blue and pink enamel "jewels" between each leaf.  The hatpin holder measures 4 3/4" in height.  Beautiful piece of old Nippon with fabulous decoration.
