    ANTIQUE BUTTER PAT
    Lovely antique porcelain butter pat measuring 3" in size. Decorated in a beautiful floral and bird design, edge is gold trimmed and wash is yellow. Bearing the mark for MALING and the pattern number "6559" identified as "Coronation Print, Yellow Wash" on the Maling Collector's Society website, I believe the flower is a Peony, accented by exotic bird.
    Condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage -- there is a hint of a metallic iridescence when held at an angle in the light. Just an unusual and striking antique butter pat -- lovely addition to any table, home, collection or display!
